How do I create a new video on the platform?

To create a new video, click the “+Create video” button. A screen will automatically open with all the required and optional fields you need to fill in to configure your video.

Which fields are mandatory to generate a video?

The mandatory fields are: Site (the website you want to work on), Video title, Language, Video voice (male or female), Video length (in seconds), Video format (horizontal or vertical), and Choose source (link, article, manual input, or script).

What is the maximum video duration?

The maximum duration is 600 seconds (10 minutes) for standard videos and 90 seconds for reels (vertical formats for social media).

What is the difference between horizontal and vertical format?

The horizontal format is ideal for YouTube, websites, presentations, and desktop content.
The vertical format is designed for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

What are video templates used for?

Templates allow you to create videos with a uniform and consistent style. They can be created in Settings > Sites > Video templates and also allow you to insert CTAs (call-to-action), such as asking viewers to subscribe or like the video to increase visibility on YouTube.

What content source options are available?

There are four options:

  1. Link to an article (by entering a URL),

  2. Article created within the AuthorEvo platform,

  3. Manual entry of title and text,

  4. Direct input of the video script.

How long does it take to generate a video?

Processing time varies depending on the video length. In general, about 2 minutes of processing are required for each minute of video. Longer videos therefore require more processing time.

What is the “Video text moderation” feature, and why is it important?

Video text moderation allows you to review the generated script before the final creation of the video. It is recommended because it lets you edit or regenerate the text if needed, adding an approval step before the final processing.

What optional features are available for YouTube?

Optional features include:

  • “Display subtitles” (shows synchronized text within the video),

  • “Generate cover” (creates a high-CTR optimized thumbnail),

  • “Generate description” (creates a keyword-rich description),

  • “Suggest video titles” (proposes optimized titles to increase click-through rates).

How can I search for an already generated video?

You can filter generated videos in two ways: by author (selecting who created the content) or by using the search function (searching by name, image, or any word contained in the video).
